Coming Across? Rather, Laid Out.
Jana was looking forward to her baby’s arrival. She had come to Align when she first found out she was pregnant, and now she held a certificate of completion from our Pregnancy and Birth course. She also looked forward to receiving a new crib—our reward to her for successfully completing those classes.
Before she left, Jana gave her client advocate a hug and handed her a card. The card read, “I can’t express enough how thankful I am for the guidance you and these classes
have offered me. When I first found out I was pregnant unexpectedly, I felt so scared and lost. Coming across this program has been such a blessing…”
We loved her note, and I had to smile at the words, “Coming across this program…” Jana might think she accidentally found Align, but we believe differently, because Psalm 139:16 in the New Living Translation says, “You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.”
God had already laid out for Jana that she would connect with Align when she did. He wanted her to find us and to learn what she needed to know about caring for her body and her baby during pregnancy and preparing her heart and home for her baby’s arrival.
Friends, according to the Bible, nothing in our lives happens by accident. Not pregnancy, not learning, not relationships. God is good, and therefore, He has good plans for all of our moments.
