God’s Goodness for New Dads

God’s Goodness for New Dads

Brandon, one of our clients who was a new dad, developed a special relationship with his male advocate while taking our parenting classes. They both loved sports and so they often bantered about whose professional football team was the best.

Brandon also enjoyed the spiritual application segment of each class and had lots of questions for his advocate. One of them was whether Jesus and Lucifer were friends. Brandon’s advocate was happy to open the Bible and explain the stark contrast between them.

When the parenting classes were nearing an end, the advocate asked Brandon if he’d like to take our Life Skills unit or begin a Bible Study together.

“The Bible Study,” Brandon said without hesitation, “because I want to understand more about who Jesus is.”

Our advocate thought that was a GREAT choice, knowing that God would have good things in store for Brandon.

Ezekiel 34:11 says, “For thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I, I myself will search for my sheep and will seek them out.” God is meeting practical needs of young families on a daily basis, and He is building His Church through local pregnancy center ministries like ours. He loves giving new dads and moms an opportunity to meet the Savior of their souls.

If you know a young man who is struggling with being a good dad to his young children, consider referring him to your local pregnancy center for fatherhood classes and to learn more about the best Father of all.
