Rainbow Reminder
The rain cascaded down from the sky for days. Suddenly, the sun peaked through the clouds, and a rainbow arched across the sky directly over one of our centers. The spectrum of colors provided a beautiful reminder that God’s presence surrounds us, and He provides for our deepest needs.
Such is the case with Taylor, who had been struggling to make ends meet. She was thankful for the extra CARE Cash she could spend in our on-site Baby Boutique after taking parenting classes. Taylor needed to get diapers for her little one. Unfortunately, she needed more than just baby supplies; she needed necessities for herself, too.
On the morning of Taylor’s appointment, someone randomly donated a large box full of various items that not only included baby supplies but also toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, toothpaste, and paper towels. The director had planned to drop off the extra adult supplies to another charitable organization in the neighborhood, but God had other plans.
Taylor came into the center that day, and the box of supplies was still there. She was able to get exactly what she needed for her baby and herself. Tears welled up in Taylor’s eyes as she offered a hug to the secretary to express her overwhelming gratitude for God’s provision!
First John 5:14-15 says, “And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, he hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of Him.” Praise the Lord for His good and faithful promises.
