“To All Generations” – 2024 Fundraising Dinner Recap
More than 700 people gathered Friday, Oct 11 at the Lebanon Expo Center for Align’s annual Fundraising Dinner with special guest speaker, Eric Metaxas. It was an evening to remember, with truth to embrace for generations to come.
The theme for the evening was “To All Generations”, based on Psalm 79:13 “We will show forth Your praise to all generations.” Guests enjoyed a delicious meal, uplifting worship, and invigorating talks.
At the beginning of her remarks, Align’s President Lisa Hosler asked the audience to think of a special relative who’s had an impact on their lives, and then consider what life would be like if that relative hadn’t been born, or had been aborted. She underscored God’s passion for people to be BORN physically (Genesis 1:27-28) and REBORN spiritually (Mark 6:15). She shared updates of God at work through Align both locally and globally, interspersed with insights from Align’s Client Services Director Heidi Geerer, life-shining testimony videos, and precious ultrasound footage.

Next, New York Times bestselling author and conservative broadcast host Eric Metaxas stepped to the podium. Described as “one of our nation’s most brilliant and morally serious public intellectuals,” Eric took the audience back to the 1930’s, to the days of Dietrich Bonhoeffer and the German Church. From there, he pointed out perils of complacency the Church must avoid today for the sake of our faith, our nation, and the generations to come.

The evening also featured the heartwarming story of our clients Nate and Brieanna, who came to know Jesus while taking parenting classes at Align.
Our fundraising goal for the Dinner was $235,000. To date, the total raised is more than $391,000! The amount received in excess of the goal will be used toward the purchase of a new larger building for our Align Pregnancy Services Ephrata location–including ample room to provide ultrasound services! We’re so thankful to God for His provision, for each person who attended, and for every gift given.
