Woven in the Secret Place
Psalm 139:15 says that God wove us together in the secret place of our mother’s womb: “My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.”
We shared this beautiful truth w/ Jenni, a young mother of 2 who was pregnant w/ her third. “I need to get an abortion,” Jenni said. “I’m already having a hard time keeping up w/ the children I have!”
After seeing an image of her preborn baby through ultrasound, Jenni’s mind remained unchanged. But before she left that day, she allowed us to pray w/ her.
When our director called Jenni a few days later, she said, “I’ve really thought about what you said and the image of my baby on that ultrasound screen. I’m happy to say that I’m keeping my baby!”
Only God can knit a baby together in the secret place of a mother’s womb, and only God can weave His truth into the secret place of an abortion-minded woman’s heart.
