I’m Here! And I’m Here to Help
Eric, a local high school student, stopped by one of our pregnancy center locations recently and said, “Hey, is there any yardwork I can do on your property? School’s almost over, and I’ll have more time over the summer.”
Our receptionist was delighted with his question and asked how he heard about Align. An amazing story followed.
Eric said, “My mom came here 18 years ago when she was pregnant with me. The doctors told her I wouldn’t be normal and that she should consider abortion. She didn’t know what to do, and she found you guys.
“My mom always told me how nice everyone was here and how you prayed with her and helped her to trust God. So, she carried me to term, and as you can see,” Eric said as he stretched out his arms, “here I am! I’m perfectly fine!”
We had a delightful conversation with Eric, and he’s been helping us with several hands-on projects this summer.
Eric—and many, many others like him—are alive today because of God’s love and truth extended to their moms through local Christian pregnancy center ministries like ours. God cares for the people He creates— babies and parents alike — and He is so worthy of praise! As it says in Psalm 145:9, “The LORD is good to all, and his mercy is over all that He has made.”
