God is Still Writing the Story
Julia came to our center for parenting classes but learned way more than she ever thought she would. During her first appointment, she heard about Jesus’ love and forgiveness and accepted the Lord as her Savior right then and there!
As the weeks went by, Julia’s client advocate took time to disciple her and encourage her newfound faith. During that time, Julia shared that she was praying that the Lord would soften her husband’s heart so that he would also turn to Jesus. She longed for a day when they would be united in raising their children to follow Him.
The client advocate gave Julia a children’s book that was recently donated to the center, hoping that the book’s biblical theme of Creation would bless them and ignite a deeper interest in the Word of God.
When she received the book, Julia smiled and mentioned that her husband is the one who typically reads bedtime stories to their children. She said she would gladly add that to their collection.
Hopefully, as Julia’s husband reads this book about Creation to their kids, his heart would be stirred towards the great love of his Creator and the truth of the Gospel! Praise God that He is not done with this story!
Philippians 1:6 says “…He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
