Graduation Day

Graduation Day

Tis the season for graduations! It’s a beautiful time to celebrate the accomplishments of students completing their education and important to recognize that every graduate’s story is unique and exciting, whether they are graduating from high school, college, or trade school.

Recently, two very different clients completed their programs at our pregnancy center.

Maggie started taking prenatal classes when she became pregnant unexpectedly. She had just broken up with her boyfriend and still lived with her parents, but Maggie was determined to become a good mother. She diligently took notes during her classes and finished every assignment. A small tear of joy slid down Maggie’s cheek when she was given her certificate for completing the prenatal classes, and then she eagerly signed up for parenting classes!

Jamal started taking fatherhood classes by himself because he wanted to become a better father to his six children, four of which he was raising alone. When the director handed Jamal his certificate of completion, a huge smile spread across his face as he triumphantly held it in the air!

Psalm 16:11 says, “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Congratulations to all the graduates out there! No matter what your story is, God’s got a plan for you. Our prayer is that you seek the Lord in all that you do.
