A Pregnancy Ministry Without Walls
Last year God began speaking Isaiah 54:2 to the ministry – “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes.”
We sensed the Lord leading Align to become “a pregnancy ministry without walls” — to extend our life-giving services further into the communities we serve. Recently, Align had the joy of participating in the Healthy Beginnings Fill-A-Bag Event in downtown Lancaster.
This event saw over 125 individuals and families in attendance, and by the end of the event our fill-a-bag items were nearly gone. Thanks to our generous supporters, the items they received from Align included:
- 1 baby blanket or handmade play blanket
- 1 – 12-pack of diapers
- 1 bib or baby wash cloth
- Align lip balm packet (which included a follow us card, a referral card, and pen)
- Align purple reusable bag
- English/Spanish free essentials program information
- New Lancaster location postcard
- Sidewalk chalk was handed out to the children that were present
Align staff met and spoke with each mom that attended the event. We had the opportunity to share about Align Pregnancy Services, what we do, what we provide, and how to connect with us.
Many of the women we met never heard of Align Pregnancy Services and were excited to either utilize our services for themselves or pass along our information to their friends.
We are so thankful that God is extending Align Pregnancy Services outside of the four walls of our centers and allowing us minister to families in these new, exciting ways!
