Post-Roe Prayer Requests
In these “post-Roe” times, some extremist groups have threatened that it’s going to be a “summer of rage” toward pro-life ministries. However, our desire is that this would be a summer that clearly showcases Jesus’s love for humanity, and that requires prayer! So, if you feel led to pray with us, here are a few of our specific requests:
- Pray that many more clients would connect with Align – both those facing unintended pregnancies as well as those struggling with past-abortion decisions. Now that abortion is no longer the blanket law of the land, some people who thought they were “OK” emotionally with the abortion they had in the past might be finding thoughts of guilt and shame resurfacing all over again. We are here to help them find freedom and healing in the name of Jesus.
- Also, please pray that we and our fellow Christians throughout our region would not shrink back from those who oppose the recent SCOTUS decision, but that we would welcome opportunities to talk with them. Ask the Lord to help us listen honestly to their points and to their fears. Ask Him to give us courage, and to help us respond with truth in a winsome way.
