The Father’s Heart for Life for the People of the Womb
I recently heard some powerful insights about life affirming ministry from Kurt Dillinger, President of LIFE International, at a national pregnancy center conference.
Mr. Dillinger noted that in order for the Church to fulfill the Great Commission, it has to reach all the unreached people groups in the world. But, he said, the most vulnerable people group is often missed. He calls it “a group that has no language, no passport, no flag… but is present in every nation; a group that is often culturally disregarded, diminished, and unprotected around the globe.”
What people group is this? It is the preborn children. Or, as he calls them, “The People of the Womb.”
An estimated 73 million preborn babies are aborted globally—every year. That number is staggering and beyond tragic.
Mr. Dillinger declared, “The People of the Womb are our current neighbors,” and that the Church is called by God not merely to save their lives, but to honor God Almighty, whose image they bear. He asked, “What if the People of the Womb are vital to the Church’s witness to the nations?” He urged the Church to seek Father God’s heart for life, to recognize the unborn as a people group, and to include them in the Great Commission.
His remarks made me so thankful—again—for the work of pregnancy centers around the world as part of God’s Church, which stands firm, “offers Kingdom clarity,” and vitally serves this unreached people group, saving lives both physically and spiritually.
Please endeavor daily to choose God the Father’s heart for life for the People of the Womb.
