2023 Fundraising Dinner Recap

2023 Fundraising Dinner Recap

God’s spirit was present and palpable at our 2023 Fundraising Dinner on Thursday October 26 at the Lebanon Expo Center.

A few words we heard from guests describing their experience – “Compelling!” “Uplifting!” “Beautiful!”

The theme for the evening was “Your Kingdom Come—Embracing God’s Heart from the Womb to the World.” And the ~450 people who gathered seemed to do just that as they listened to updates on God’s life-giving work through Align and beyond.

Pastor Kevin Eshleman of Ephrata Community Church emceed the evening, and Elicia and Kennedy from Annville’s Lifeway Church lead live worship.

After the meal was finished, Align’s President, Lisa Hosler, shared a passionate and encouraging message.

In my entire life, I’ve never been more alarmed by the callous disregard for human beings… especially for preborn babies,” she said. “I’ve also never been more heartened by how God is moving through Align…and even globally, through a new movement that’s spreading the gospel and the sacredness of human life around the world.”

She cited examples of God working through Align locally as well as across Pennsylvania, in the nation, and in the world – including Align’s role in the Global Congress for Life happening in Malta in November 2023. Click here to view a brief summary of the updates she shared.

Next, keynote speaker Dr. William Lile, took to the stage. Known as America’s “ProLife Doc” from Pensacola, FL, Dr. Lile shared one amazing update upon another from the field of preborn medical care.

“Tonight, you are going on call with me. I’m going to bring you into my world of how we treat the preborn as patients,” he said. “Because, if they are a patient, they are a person, and if they are a person, they deserve our protection. A patient is a person, no matter how small!”

We were also pleased to feature the story of our client Tayleen – how she found life and healing at Align through Jesus after a heartbreaking tragedy.

Our fundraising goal for the Dinner was $200,000. To date, the total raised is nearly $290,000! We’re so thankful to each person who attended and for every gift given.

Our sincerest gratitude to Dr. and Lesley Lile, Stray Production Services, Lebanon Expo Center and Cool Spring Flowers for their amazing support. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our wonderful Corporate Sponsors for offsetting the cost of the event.
