Priceless Education
Proverbs 18:15 says, “An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.”
This verse reminds me of so many of our clients who sign up for parenting classes.
Jose and Eva were one such couple. They took our parenting course so they could learn how to best care for their toddler. What they didn’t realize is that the lessons would benefit them just as much as their precious little girl.
One of the life skills the course focuses on is money management. After using the knowledge and tools they learned in class, Jose and Eva completely changed their spending habits. The couple cut up one credit card, paid off another, and started saving more of their paychecks each month. They even determined that Eva had been spending about $200 a month on dining out. They had no idea! Since then, she has curbed that habit, determined to make changes for the better.
God has been using these practical lessons to help them beyond their wallets, too. Jose and Eva shared that money had been a point of contention in their marriage. Since taking these lessons and making those changes, they’ve noticed money has become less of a problem, so they argue less.
This newfound peace in their home was such a beautiful transformation for Jose, Eva, and their precious daughter. Those classes cost them nothing, but the lessons learned are priceless!
