Align Life Ministries’ Annual Theme

Align Life Ministries’ Annual Theme

By: Lisa Hosler

I’d like to lay out some simple questions and answers to spur your thoughts toward our annual theme.

Why were you born?

Because God had you in His heart and wanted you to come into existence as a beloved human being on this earth. He chose your parents, He shaped you in your mom’s womb, He orchestrated your entry into the world. And there was a massive heavenly celebration when you were born.

Jeremiah 31:3  “I have loved you with an everlasting love.”

When did God start thinking about you?

Before the foundation of the world. You were fully known and wildly loved since eternity past. (Whew! That’s mind-blowing in a very good way.)

Ephesians 1:4a  He chose us in him before the foundation of the world.

What is God’s highest desire for you?

To be in a thriving, personal relationship with Him through Jesus—every day on the earth and then for all eternity. (By the way, there was another massive heavenly celebration when you were born again.)

John 17:3  “This is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ.”

So, from eternity past God had His eye on you, He made sure that You were born, He graced you to understand and receive His salvation, He’s given you great purpose in your life, and you will spend all eternity with this amazing God who had you in His heart before time began.

Selah. We could go home now, filled to the brim with the joy of our salvation. But there’s more. In God’s heart—who’s not willing that any should perish—there’s always more.

Let’s shift our thinking to the young moms, dads, and babies we serve at Align Life Ministries.

God’s desire for each one of them is that they are born physically, and then born again spiritually through Jesus. Yes, God wants babies to be born, to be saved from abortion. And yes, God wants those babies to grow, to thrive, and to come to know Him personally at a young age. And yes, God wants young moms and dads – who are already born – to put their trust in Him and grow to know and love and live for Him throughout their lives.

Simply put, God wants our clients to be born and reborn. And that’s our theme for 2022: Born to Be Reborn.

This isn’t just a catchy phrase. It’s a comprehensive truth that represents the pounding heart of God for each of our clients and their babies. And it’s reverberating in our hearts as well!

Throughout the year we will continue to pray into this theme, discern more of God’s perspective, and equip our client advocates to share these simple and profound truths with our clients.

Pray with us that many more babies will be born and that many more young moms and dads will say “Yes!” to their Creator – who loved them before the foundation of the world.
