As Truth Soaks In
Hi friends! I’m going to tell you today’s story in two parts. Here’s part one:
About a year ago, a young woman stopped by our center because she thought she might be pregnant. We offered her a pregnancy test, and it was negative. We listened and talked with her awhile, and then she left. We thought our interaction with her was complete.
Now comes part two: The same young woman recently stopped in for another pregnancy test. This one was positive. She was uncertain about whether she wanted to carry the baby to term. She had stopped in on one of our ultrasound days, and we had an open appointment. We were able to show her a little baby who was moving all over the place and had a strong beating heart. As soon as the woman saw her little one on the screen, she said, “I guess the option I was thinking about is not really an option”. She decided to parent her baby, and signed up for our prenatal classes. Before she left, she said, “I knew this was a place I could come to for this pregnancy because of the care I received from you before, when my pregnancy test was negative.”
John 16:13 says, “when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth.” We find it just INCREDIBLE – and a GREAT privilege – to be present when truth is revealed to our clients and it soaks into their precious hearts. Their reasons for having an abortion start to pale in comparison with the light of God’s truth. *Join us in thanking God for His Spirit which guides us into all the truth and brings LIFE. We have all been created for Him.
