Born That Men May Live

Born That Men May Live

Janelle came to see us because she needed someone to talk to. She was pregnant, and was not sure what to do because of her life circumstances. She said “I know what I WANT to do…” – she wanted to keep the baby. But she quickly added “I just don’t know if that’s best for me right now.” We offered her an ultrasound, and she accepted.

Her friend came with her to the scan, and commented how cute the baby was. The client – although still conflicted about what to do – couldn’t help herself during the scan. She kept smiling and laughing and said “Oh my God… oh my God.”

The baby wiggled right from the beginning, and often -throughout the whole appointment. Janelle chose to listen to the heartbeat, and at the end of the scan said, “I’ll take as many pictures as you’ll give me!”

Afterwards, she met with our Director, who talked with her about God and His plans for her life and her baby’s life. “I’ve wandered away from him,” the client said. “But it’s time for me to return.” Janelle chose life physically for her baby that day, and she chose life spiritually for herself!

One of our favorite Christmas carol lyrics Align are found in the song “Hark the Herald Angels Sing”: Mild He lays his glory by, born that men no more may die,

Born to raise the sons of earth, born to give them second birth. God’s heart for human beings is that we are born physically and then reborn spiritually into an everlasting, loving relationship with Him. We are Born to be Reborn.

Merry Christmas, friends, from all of us at Align Life Ministries.
