Post-Abortion Pill Window

Post-Abortion Pill Window

Hi friends – it’s a bit of a tender topic today, just to let you know in advance. I’d like to give you a glimpse – from our recent experiences – of a post-abortive woman who has taken the abortion pill.

First, we’re noticing she is very open about the trauma she experienced. She is also confused. She was not prepared for the onslaught of emotions that came after her abortion pill abortion. She did the procedure at home. Most times, she was alone. She is suffering through the emotional awareness that SHE has just become the abortionist who ended her baby’s life.

She wasn’t told beforehand how to prepare emotionally or physically. Family & friends are not equipped to help her. They may urge her to simply “deal with it” and get on with the rest of her life. Those who supported her decision, don’t have the words to help her either. The abortion clinic told her it will be just like a miscarriage, but she hasn’t heard back from them since, and isn’t aware of any aftercare that they provide for her emotional well-being.

The woman searches the Web looking for help. She calls anyone she can think of who might be able to help her. She’s looking for a word of hope…

We Christians have that word of hope for her. The word is Jesus. He’s the One person who can forgive us from our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness, as it says in 1 John 1:9. If you or someone you know is struggling after taking the abortion pill, we are here for you at 717-279-1525 or
